Welcome to Step intensive program at Powers House; a multigrade level classroom. We are getting better at being safe, respectful, and responsible in our classroom and are earning lots of buggets for being successful inside and outside of our classroom.
All of our students are now attending mainstream specials and one of our students is taking a violin class at GSS! We continue to learn the State capitals and are now learning the names, location and capitals of the South Eastern States. Each student will do a research project on the State they choose and gather information about their State. The State flag, flower, bird, tree, population, biggest city, neighboring state, and what they could do if they went to that state for vacation are the types of information the students are searching for.
We are busy learning what the words hibernation, adaption and migration mean and are studying the animals that fit into each category. We will share our information and art work when we finished, stop by and see our in progress projects!
