Our class has been studying rocks and minerals, and we wanted to share some photos of an activity that we enjoyed. Here we are "Mining for Minerals" using chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate chips are the minerals, and students mined and calculated costs/profits that simulated the actual mining process.
