First graders have been very busy with this very short week!!! We have earned all of our bugget goals this week. We are getting better at being safe, respectful, and responsible in our classroom.
In Math we have begun our third of nine units. Very exciting! We will be focusing on addition story problems and beginning subtraction.
In Literacy we are working on our trick words: of, the to, it, and, my is, like, I , a, was he, his, and has. These words are words that we can read and are learning to spell correctly in our writing.
